Oh my! Where has the time gone? I can’t believe November is already coming to an end! Lots of exciting things have been going on around here~
A few weeks ago marked my last wedding for the year (11.11.11) and it was one of the most memorable weddings I’ve coordinated! Not only was it my first semi-destination wedding at the beautiful Santa Margarita Ranch but a chance of rain was in the forecast, which would have sent any couple about to get married into panic mode. Not this couple, though. Sharon and Tony are already one of the most easy going and fun loving couples I’ve met thus far but after being a part of their special day, they have certainly raised the bar. All they cared about was that their guests had a good time and boy did they! I can’t wait to share the lovely pictures from this Anthropologie inspired wedding~
Of course, I had to bring my trusty assistant with me! I told Husband that he could retire from assisting me for my 2012 weddings but after this last wedding, I don’t know if I’ll be able to find someone as hard working and trustworthy as him! We made a mini trip out of it and stopped by Santa Ynez/Santa Barbara for some good ol’ husband & wife time.
We also had some visitors from the East Coast~ If you’ve been following my blog, I’ve already mentioned some good friends out in Virginia who recently visited for the holidays. Lots of good food with good friends!!
After 3 Thanksgiving dinners (not all in 1 day..I promise!) it was time to get ready for one of the grandest post Thanksgiving traditions: TURKEY BOWL (a Southern California church-wide flag football tournament). I’m proud to say that BOTH our Women’s & Men’s teams won the CHAMPIONSHIP!!! After 10 years of playing, I can officially say I am retiring!! Perhaps now I can get some Black Friday shopping done next year~
More and more I’ve grown to realize there’s so much to be thankful for!! Loving family and friends I’m so blessed to share life, shed tears, and play football with 🙂
