HAPPY NEW YEAR/Happy Friday!! I hope you all enjoyed spending time with your loved ones during the holidays as I certainly did! The holidays are always a very special time in our household, celebrating the birth of our Lord & Savior, ending the year in reflection, and looking forward to new beginnings.
2011 has been an incredible year with many ups and downs, all from diving into the wonderful world of wedding planning, watching family and friends come and go, celebrating my 1st year of marriage with Husband, and losing my job as a teacher only to gain a new one as an assistant editor at an educational publishing company!! (not to fret as {Jane} will still be in business). Through it all, I am constantly reminded of God’s amazing faithfulness and abounding love!
To end the year in style, a few of my friends and I decided to throw an impromptu New Year’s Eve celebration at our humble abode. I’ve always loved hosting get togethers so I was pretty excited!! One of the biggest misconceptions in throwing a great party is that you have to spend a lot of $$$ but I am a firm believer in utilizing what you already have! Most of the decor were things I dug up around the house, although I did make a last minute trip to Target’s Christmas Clearance section! Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to take a picture of the amazing food spread but hopefully you’ll be inspired to throw your own DIY get together~
To all my faithful readers, thank you for your love and support!! We have some exciting things planned for 2012 and cannot wait to showcase all the fabulous weddings in store!! Here’s to another amazing year~ xo
