Today marks Deacon’s 100th day of life! In the Korean tradition, a small feast is prepared to celebrate a baby’s 100th day of life. We chose to celebrate it yesterday with family and a few close friends. At first, I wanted to keep things super simple but before I knew it my creative juices got the best of me and I found myself hand-making paper pinwheels, placing orders for desserts, and miscellaneous things.
The color crush inspiration came from one of baby D’s bib collection provided by the lovely Esther of Egg to Eggi, who is now venturing into Noniland, a party styling company where she will handmake your unique event to your heart’s desire! She baked some scrumptious macarons for his 100th day bash: lemon buttercream, chocolate espresso, and my fave, salted caramel. Check out her website for more updates and information!
Happy 100th Day, sweet boy! Although you won’t remember this day, I hope you know how much you are loved. I’ve been so blessed to be called your Mommy the past 100 days and you’ve already grown so much! You bring unspeakable joy into our lives and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for you. May you come to know God’s love and holiness. We love you more than you know!!
