Please excuse the silence as lots of changes have been going on the last couple months, both personally and professionally.  As some of you may already know I decided to leave my full-time job at a local educational publishing company to stay home with my little dude.  It wasn’t an easy decision to make but with the  support of Husband, I am now able to say that I’m an official stay at home mom but the good news is that I will still be pursuing wedding/event planning & coordinating.  Speaking of Husband, he is currently away on missions in Paraguay, a country very near and dear to my heart as I spent some time there myself post college.  Please try to keep him and his team in your prayers!!

Another reason for my absence from this blog is that we are currently working on revamping {jane} events.  I’m super excited to reveal my updated website and blog as I’m looking to simplify, which has been a recurring theme in my life these days, hence the title “Back to Basics.”  Please excuse our transition as we will also be moving websites (more to come later!)

Until then, feast your eyes on a BEAUTY of a wedding I coordinated last Fall for the gorgeous couple, Emily and Matt.  When blogger Emily of Could Be Interesting contacted me last year to coordinate her wedding, I was beyond thrilled with all the pretty little details she had dreamed up for her love-filled wedding day.  I’ve been anxiously waiting to feature this spectacular wedding and you’ll see why below!
