  • Dylan’s 1st Birthday
    february 5, 2019

Happy Lunar New Year!  It’s been a minute since I’ve last blogged, and what better way to revive this ol’ journal than with Dylan’s 1st birthday that was held last month~ She’s been a special addition to our family–we like to call her our sweet surprise.  If you’ve been following me via Instagram, I’m sure you know by now that she wasn’t the easiest baby to carry but her presence in our lives have taught us so much about having faith and learning to trust God in ALL things.  If any of you are on the fence of making the jump from two to three, I highly recommend it!! 😀

The concept of Dylan’s 1st birthday was birthed with her older sister, Devyn while I was planning her dohl back in 2015.  Being a Korean-American, I had grown up doing Korean Traditional Dance from fans to knives to drums to the 3-drums (my personal fave) and even spent some time in Korea teaching English, so I’ve always had a personal affinity and connection towards the Korean culture.  I wanted to pay homage to our Korean heritage but decided not to, and totally regretted it after seeing it trend (the downside of being an event planner!).  I knew if I ever had another daughter, I would design and style it incorporating our Korean culture with a fun and modern twist – a Korean theme park and so, Dylan’s Magical Kingdom was born!

Michelle of From the Bear created these custom illustrations of Dylan and her animal companions, which included her bunny that she took monthly photos with and Korean inspired characters like the hybrid tiger of Seoul & Winter Olympics + baby chick as a nod to her being born in the year of the Rooster.  Hannah of Paper Haven Ink took these amazing images and created all the lovely paper goods from the invites to doljabi sign and other amazing stationery.  Special shoutout to Jean for gifting us with the cutest little buttons as favors for our guests~

As guests entered Dylan’s Magical Kingdom, they were greeted with  the traditional doljabi table, a fun game where the birthday girl picks an item to predict what she will be in the future.  We decided to mix and match traditional with modern.  Guests were able to predict what they thought Dylan would choose from a clipboard as an event planner, a chalk/chalkboard as a professor, a golf ball as an athlete, money for wealth, and a globe to be a world traveler.

We brought in the most amazing vendors to create a spin-off of Seoul’s famous night life with Dylan’s Day Market! Seoul Street Co. catered modern Korean street food with bulgogi sliders, bulgogi fries (my personal fave), kimchi fried rice, and spicy rice cakes.  They seriously went above and beyond by creating a special off menu for the older Korean adults with a more traditional meal and a super kid friendly meal of bulgogi sliders and a yummy mac salad! Mai of Petit Sweets fried mochi donuts on the spot and we even had a coffee bar for our guests because we all know how much I love my iced coffees!

Heading down to Seoul Street, to the head table where its concept was inspired by a Korean traditional “madang,” or yard.  With the help of some friends who happened to be traveling to Korea, we were able to source Korean hanbok fabric and use it as an installation to mimic a Korean traditional yard with shades made of straw mats hung to keep the heat away.  I also wanted to honor our Korean-American cultures by displaying Dylan’s English name and Korean name side by side.  Hannah of Paper Haven Ink did an incredible job, per usual in designing and laser-cutting all the wooden borders, names, in addition to the paper goods!  She is not just one of the sweetest and giving of her time/talents, but truly THE best in the business and so thankful to have known her for all these years!!

The florals and desserts itself deserve its own post and Jina of DeFlora who provided the most beautiful florals and #teamsweetleemade did such an amazing job!  I mean, look at that floral installation!!  From the matching hand painted silver florals to match the floral stamping on Dylan’s custom hanbok to the traditional Korean desserts made by Angela of Candy Apple Cakes and the sweetest vendor from Rice Cake USA to the paddle bars with butterfly detailing, everything was too beautiful to eat!  Jina and Cindy, thank you so much for always going above and beyond!

I spy bojagi made from yours truly from a workshop I attended with Nossi Bojagi!

3-tiered traditional rice cake that resembled a modern naked cake. Look at the floral piping and details!

Of course we had to incorporate a fun little kid’s area to keep the little ones entertained~ Photobooth designed by Clara Choi using the custom illustrations by From the Bear, Balloon Install by the amazing ladies of Oh Shiny Paper Co.!, and the cutest cut-outs hand cut by Hannah of Paper Haven Ink.  If you’re in the Pasadena/SGV area and are in need of the cutest party supplies to balloons to tassels, you must check out Oh Shiny Paper Co.!

Play Doh Palace & Slime City for kid’s entertainment + personalized t-shirts for the lil’ ones

Getting ready for the doljabi!  Dylan’s custom hanbok was gifted by Grandma and Grandpa Ahn from Onsemero Hanbok in Glendale, CA.  If you’re looking for a baby’s hanbok, check out their shop!!  I had so much fun working with Yoon in creating this heirloom that will be treasured forever!!  My own hanbok was rented from Leehwa Wedding, and was later purchased because I loved it so much!!  I loved how it complimented Dylan’s without being super matchy.

After contemplating long and hard, Dylan finally chose the chalk/chalkboard aka introducing the future Professor Chong!

Another outfit change with the cutest, modern hanbok from Petals for Tasi! I’m a bit sad that she didn’t enjoy her first cake as much as I thought she would.  If you follow my husband and his mukbangs with Dylan, you know how much she loves to eat but she was pretty pooped by the end of her party~ 😀

My dear friend and colleague, Caroline took these photos from Dylan’s 1st birthday and I know I will treasure them for years to come~  Thank you to ALL the amazing vendors and friends who contributed to making Dylan’s 1st birthday so special for our family!!

We can’t thank our family and friends enough for all the love and support you have shown us throughout the years~  It takes a village, and in our case-a tribe of people that speak into our lives who help us through the good times and bad.  We are blessed beyond measure~

Wow, has it already been a year since I last wrote in this journal??  It seems as though I’m only motivated to sit down and journal my thoughts when significant life events are impending, such as Deacon’s 5th birthday and the looming arrival of bb-3.  So much has happened in this last year and I wanted to jot down what Deacon has been up to before life gets crazy crazier with a newborn in just a few days.

    Dearest Deacon,

Happy 5th birthday, my sweet son!!  Truly, you are one of the sweetest, silliest, extroverted, Star Wars loving fans I’ve ever known.  This past year has been filled with so much growth—physically, mentally, emotionally, academically, and I also pray spiritually~

Physically, you’re growing taller and lankier (just like your papa).  You run around with SO much energy, and are one of the most active little boys I’ve seen.  Hopefully, you’ll use your high energy towards a sport you enjoy 😀  You enjoy helping me cook in the kitchen (especially baking), light saber battles with Dev, playing “Lion and Tiger” with your papa, hitting the golf ball out in the backyard, and riding around on your bike.  You continue to enjoy eating noodles, cheeseburgers, an occasional boba, and chocolate everything!

You are still one of the sweetest boys ever and everywhere we go, people comment on how friendly you are.  Currently, you love giving hugs to all your aunties and uncles but you also enjoy saying hi to strangers (introducing yourself and the whole Chong crew while you’re at it).  We’ve since learned to lock the windows so you don’t roll them down to say hi to the next car over!  Your curiosity and wonder about everything around you cause you to ask SO. MANY. QUESTIONS. and I get annoyed sometimes (let’s be honest) but I know I’ll miss it, so I’m trying to enjoy you being you at this age.

Academically, we’re not too sure what you’re learning at school to be honest, but that’s ok with me.  You mostly bring back art work, and when I ask what you learned at school for the day, you reply back recounting who you played with and what activities stood out to you.  At home, we’re going over the sounds that different letters make and learning to count to 30 in English, Spanish, and Korean.  I know you’ll grow and soar when you enter Kindergarten next year 😉

You come home from church and retell me different stories from the Bible that you’ve learned.  Our prayer is that these stories would eventually become truth for you, and that you’d grow into a man after God’s heart.  May the cost that Jesus paid on the cross ring true for you, son.  We pray that you’ll grow to serve others humbly.

I know I can be so hard on you and I snap at you out of impatience or weariness, more than I should.  Yet, you are quick to forgive and love me the same.  Who knew you’d end up being the eldest of 3, but seeing the way you care for Devyn brings us so much comfort knowing that baby tress will have a great role model to look up to.  You two have been bonding over Star Wars light saber battles and singing “Let It Go” from Frozen.  May you continue to love on and protect your baby sis, forever.

It’s true…your mama has been feeling lots of mom guilt over bringing another brother or sister to the team.  You are much more aware this time around and kiss my belly daily, asking if he/she is kicking me, and have your own opinions of what you’ll name our new baby.  You’ve grown and matured so much this past year, and I can hardly believe you’ll be going to Kindergarten in the Fall.  So thankful we were able to celebrate your 5th with a Star Wars party, just like you asked 😉

Son, you make me proud to be your mama, but know that my love pales in comparison to the love that our Heavenly Father has for you.

Our little munchkin turns 4 today, and I just can’t believe it.  It seems like yesterday my water broke and we were headed to the hospital.  I still remember the night you were born so vividly!  It’s been a while since I last journaled so I thought I would resurrect the blog with a little love note to my son for his birthday~

    Dearest Deacon,

Happy 4th birthday, buddy!  You’ve grown SO much and have had so many milestones this past year, I thought I would recount them for us to remember and celebrate.

It was just about a year ago, after your 3rd birthday, when we packed up our things and moved back down to LA from Seattle.  I’m pretty sure it was traumatizing to have so many changes happening within such a short span, but you’ve proven yourself to be resilient.  You take things in stride and are adaptable to your setting.  One thing I’ve noticed is that you’re content with what you have.  When we go to Target you always ask to see Star Wars toys and at the end of our shopping spree, you always return them back where they belong without asking for anything.

You met a new community at our beloved church, ANCC and have become acquainted with so many new aunties and uncles who are not so new anymore.  They love on you so much, but also keep you in check 😉  You love running into the sanctuary and make a beeline straight to your dad’s office.  You also love looking at all the instruments on stage after service, especially the drums.  Thankfully, the praise team doesn’t mind 😉  Maybe you’ll grow to be a drummer like your papa~  You also love roaming around and doing your own thing, which makes your mama nervous but it’s nice knowing someone’s always keeping an eye out for you on my behalf!

One of your biggest accomplishments this past year is that you finally got potty trained!  You probably could have learned earlier, but with the impending arrival of your baby sis, we were advised not to.  It didn’t come easy for you and you fought it at times, but I knew I didn’t want to rush you and that you would just get it in your own time.  This accomplishment led to another huge milestone for you and our family…

You started pre-school and you LOVE it.  You adore everything about school: teachers, newfound friends, music, art, bible study, bike yard, thing yard, snack, and the list goes on.  With a 2 year wait list, we weren’t sure where you would go, but we’re so thankful God opened doors for you to attend this one.  Plus, it didn’t hurt that your mama had some connections 😉  Everyone knows who you are and walk around campus like you’re a BAUS.  It makes my heart soar to see your first exposure to school be such a positive one.

You’ve made a new bestie at school, and it’s absolutely adorable seeing you two run around together, calling each other “best friends.”  I pray that you will grow to have a solid community of brothers around you, who will root for you and keep you accountable, and vice versa.

    Thanksgiving luncheon at school (11/2016)

Your verbal skills are growing and you are picking up some pretty funny language.  We love conversing with you and hearing all the imaginative ideas that are swirling inside your head.  You say some pretty hilarious things, and we love laughing with you.  We joke that you’re a pro at Konglish (a mash-up of Korean & English).

You have an infectious laugh and compassionate heart.  You are so tender hearted, a quality I love about you.  You can sense when I’m frustrated or upset and will ask me, “Umma are you happy?”  You love exploring and learning new games, but can get frustrated trying to figure things out.  Praying you learn patience and perseverance.  You randomly break out into song and start singing all your favorite melodies.  Curently, it’s “Let it Go” from Frozen 😀  One of my favorite things so far is that you love picking flowers on the street and hand them to me because you think I’m a princess (that’s my son~)

Play date at our local museum (10/2016)

I know it’s not always easy, but you’re learning how to be a brother to your sis, Devyn.  Thanks to you, she’s growing up to be one tough cookie.  You show affection towards her by sharing your toys with her and hugging/kissing her, but you also get into a zone and don’t always enjoy sharing your things with her.  It’s so cute when you try to show her to do things like climb up and down the stairs.  I pray that you will love on her and protect her, always.

    Devyn’s 1st Birthday (9/2016)

This past year you’ve stretched and challenged me as a mom—at times, more than I thought I could bear.  I know I fail you in so many ways as your mama, but how amazing is it that we have a Father that loves you more than we humanly can.  May you learn the love and grace of our Father at an early age, son.  I’m so grateful and humbled that He has entrusted you into our care.

Currently, you continue to be beyond extroverted, hate leaving a good party, love eating noodles anytime of the day (pho, ramen, nengmyun for breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and crazy love all things Star Wars.  Here’s to year 4!!  Please be good to me 😉

    Happy 4th Birthday, Deacon!!

    Happy Eleven Months!
    august 3, 2016

I can’t believe we’re celebrating Devyn’s 1st birthday in exactly a month from today.  So much has changed in the year that she’s joined our family…it’s pretty crazy how God’s been moving in our lives.  We’re so thankful to have my parents around to help and for a church community that has welcomed us with open arms from day one.  There’s a lot going on until then though—3 weddings for our team and celebrating my 6 year anniversary with the hubs.  I anticipated how busy I would be and tried to plan things ahead of time, but it hasn’t been an easy feat with two kids and a husband who was out of town for the last 3 weeks.  Nevertheless, we’re excited to share this day with beloved family and friends~

David is finally back home (HALLELUJAH).  I have to admit, I underestimated the absence of his presence since my parents were around to help, but it just goes to show how hands-on he is with our family dynamic.  Deacon probably felt it the most, as I noticed him being extra sensitive.  It took me a while to realize that it was because he misses his papa (insert sad face).  Thank you for praying (and playing) with us + checking in with us, friends!! 🙂

A few highlights from month 11:

    • We drove up north as a family of 3 for the first time.  You slept like a champ and got to meet many of your cool aunties + friends.
    • We started baby led weaning, and it’s a crazy mess but it’s so fun watching you use your fine motor skills to eat.
    • Your mama is cutting down on the pumping seshes, which means no more mama’s milk for you in the next few weeks.  It’s been a good run, and I’m so thankful that you are a happy and healthy little babe!
    • You’re standing on your own unassisted for a few seconds at a time, but no steps yet!  You still have only two teeth…
    • We got to meet and play with so many aunties, friends, and cousins who love on you so much~ We’re so thankful to have such a wonderful community surrounding us!

Kids crew at Dolores Park with Auntie Esther & Auntie Tina~

Boba Guys! The only thing I wanted to try (obvi~)

    Reunited with Seattle friends!

Thank you Auntie Eunice for driving all the way here from Tustin 😛

Thanks for playing with me, Auntie E!

    Happy Ten Months!
    july 3, 2016

Hope y’all have been keeping cool in this wicked heat!  We recently had a family staycation in Palm Springs last weekend with some good friends, and thank goodness for our in-house pool or else we would have melted in the desert heat~  What a great blessing it was to spend uninterrupted time with our family, but I’m looking forward to worshipping with our church family today!

This last month has been jam packed with lots of play dates and new beginnings for our family.  For one, Deacon started summer camp at a local church where he’ll be enrolled for preschool in the Fall.  He’s been enjoying every second of it and it’s so amazing to see him learn and grow academically, emotionally, and socially.  Even though he’s only gone for a few days throughout the week, I still miss him but not gonna lie…it’s been pretty nice having some alone time with Devyn while he’s off at camp.

A few highlights from month 10~

    • Your teeth have finally sprouted!!  Just your front two for now, but you love shoving everything into your mouth (especially your toys and hands).
    • You’re trying to stand unassisted and you are seriously so, so active.  You love to crawl in and around our dining room table, to little nooks and crannies, and many times I find you by our shoe collection (yuck).
    • We celebrated Father’s Day + your baptism with our ANC family.
    • We had many play dates with our OC friends + aunties (special thanks to Auntie PP, AP, & ZA for driving out to see us!)
    • Vacationed in Palm Springs for a staycation with our beloved friends, the Lee family.
    • Swam in the pool for the first time with your big bro!

Happy Father’s Day!! Love Devyn’s facial expression in this one

Summer fun with Taylor & Harper

    Happy 10 months, baby girl!!

This is my official out-of-office notice as I’ll be leaving for a short getaway sans bebes with some good girlfriends.  Huge thanks to the hubs for letting me spend some solo time before he heads out overseas for the next few weeks because this mama needs a break 😉 Hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th of July tomorrow~

    Happy Nine Months!
    june 3, 2016

Can’t believe we’re in June you guys!!  We’re approaching our 6 month mark since our move down from Seattle and life has been a whirlwind.  Last month was so crazy I didn’t have time to write up my eight month post for Devyn so I’m having a hard time remembering all of her milestones.  David is currently prepping for his two week missions trip next month, and I’m a little nervous to be home alone with the kiddies without him.  Please pray for us (especially David as he leads his missions team)!!  This means lots of play dates and outings with my little ones while he’s gone to help pass the time.  Feel free to holler if you want to play with us 😉

We’ve made great strides in working with Deacon and I’m so proud that this little guy is fully potty trained now!  It was the cause of some major stress in our household, but I knew he’d eventually get it when he was ready.  The major motivation was that the summer camp he’s enrolled in wouldn’t accept children who aren’t fully potty trained, and man who knew it would be such a process?  From the training toilet to the real one to what do we do when we’re out in public??  Thankfully, he got it and I couldn’t be prouder of him.

We’re also planning a mini family vacay before David leaves for his missions trip, and I’m planning a solo trip with both kids to the Bay Area to visit some friends.  I’m super excited because the last time I went up north was to celebrate our 1st wedding anni.  I’m also trying to find snippets of time to plan Devyn’s 1st birthday here and there, but it’s taking a lot longer than I anticipated.  A part of me would rather go on a private vacation with my family to get away and decompress, but I think I’d regret it later on…what do y’all think??

Some month 9 highlights of our baby girl:

    • We celebrated Mother’s Day as a mama of two and feeling super blessed to have my little babes.
    • Your papa took you to your 8 month appointment (it was supposed to be a belated 6 month, but we procrastinated…oopsie).  You weighed in at 18lbs. 10oz. and are 28 1/4in. tall.
    • You are one active little lady!  You are sitting up unassisted, crawling everywhere around the house with a purpose, especially getting into your big bro’s toys (which he doesn’t seem to appreciate…yikes, but he’s learning to share and be better about it~).
    • You’re pulling yourself up and love, love to hold mama’s hands to stand on your itty bitty feet!  Deacon was nowhere near as active as you are at this age and he’s quite the rambunctious one now so we joke about how we’re afraid of what you’ll be like as a toddler…yikes again.
    • You’ve been learning all those fun Korean baby tricks taught by Grandpa Ahn and it’s too cute to see you learning and growing~
    • You sure do love eating your solids~ avos, broccoli, carrots, beets, sweet potatoes, squash, peas, pears, apples, and bananas.
    • We dropped your night feeding so you’re drinking your mama’s milk 4x a day and solids 3x a day.  I can’t wait to be done with the pumping, but I know I’ll miss playing a role in your growth and nutrition.
    • You still have no teeth 🙁
    • We celebrated Grandpa & Grandma Ahn’s birthdays + your buddy Heather’s birthday this month with lots of birthday cake!

Thanks to my buddy Joshie for letting me borrow your clothes 🙂

Look of pure happiness or mischief??

I love going to 1st birthday parties!

    Happy Seven Months!
    april 3, 2016

I can’t believe our little Devyn is seven months today.  I feel like I just had her and I wish I could stop time to soak in all her chubs, smiles, and drools.  She’s growing way too fast for this mama’s heart.  I feel like we’ve been going non-stop since moving down.  David’s been busy with ministry and I’ve been gearing up for my first wedding season since our move back to CA, which I’m super excited for!  We are so incredibly thankful for this season, albeit a busy time in our lives.  David and I have been making intentional efforts to decompress after work and spending quality time together as a family, but also as a couple.  Tomorrow, we’ll be going down to SD to have a family day!  I’m redeeming some free tickets to Sea World and planning to stop by one of our fav coffee shops’ SD location + eating some good ol’ Vallartas.  I’m definitely looking forward to unplugging and going on a mini getaway with my hubby and babes.

    Highlights from Month 7:

    • I finally started feeding you some solids.  We’re starting with avocado first, just like we did with your big bro.  Hoping this increases your appetite for lots of yummy fruits and veggies like it did for Deke.  I made an intentional effort to feed him whole30 during his first year of life and I really think this is why he loves his fruits and veggies.
    • Your hair is growing quite quickly!  Even if it’s not all grown back by your 1st birthday, I’m ok with it because you’re still my beautiful little babe and no one can rock it like you do.  G.I Jane anyone??
    • You’re on all fours, rocking back and forth/army crawling.  Seriously?!
    • You’re becoming more vocal and saying “bba bba bba!”
    • You celebrated your first Easter with our ANCC family.
    • We got to shower Auntie Jeewon & Uncle Jason before your buddy, baby Yoo arrives~

Doing all sorts of stretches just to get a look at your big bro’s Pororo shows

Testing out her adorable floral headband gifted from the talented Jess of Design Sown!

This is Devyn’s “feed me” look

    Playdate with my friend, Heather!

24 years of friendship with these mamas, looking forward to seeing the next gen grow up together and we especially can’t wait to meet you baby Yoo! You are so incredibly loved already~

Five years ago today I led my very first wedding rehearsal.  There’s been many blessings and lots of lessons learned, but my journey has brought me here and I wouldn’t have it any other way~  Jane Events is officially five and I’m so thrilled to share something special I’ve been working on.

If there is anything I’ve learned from planning my own wedding, plus five humble years of marriage + raising 2 babes is that it truly takes a village.  I’m so blessed to have community—new and old, near and far, who will share in my joy and success, as well as encourage me in my failures.  The friendships that reach from CA to WA are ones that I cherish dearly and I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without these people in my life.

Dear friends, your wedding is not the culmination of your love story.  Rather, it is just the beginning.  For all you newly engaged couples, I hope you’ll be inspired by our “Will you be my bridesmaid?” photo shoot, captured by the incredibly talented and beautiful, Nina of Love & Lemonade.  My heart is that you would not get caught up in solely creating a Pinterest worthy wedding, but rather that you would be moved to take time in honoring those special people and friendships that surround you as you prepare for your big day.

Because of this, my heart was stirred to curate a photo shoot to celebrate friendship + community in honor of my five year anniversary with Jane Events.  I gathered up some of my favorite wedding vendors to get together for some much needed girl time surrounded by beautiful blooms, desserts, and drinks (a nod to a few of my favorite things~).  Fun fact: Nina just eloped to the love of her life, so please send her some love!!  She also happens to be the photog who shot my very first couple’s wedding, as well as my family session for Deacon’s 1st birthday, so it was super meaningful for me to have her come on board with our project and giveaway.  I’m so honored that she did and you will see her amazing work in the days to come as I reveal the images from our shoot.

Just to give you a sneak peek, I’ve rounded up a photographer, dj/mc, florist, cake, hair, bridal accessory, and a few more fun items from a specialty vendor.

Coordinator: Jane Events (20% off any package)
Photographer: Love & Lemonade (20% off portrait session or wedding collection)

I’ll be adding to this list and revealing who these vendors are + images of their beautiful work throughout next week, so stay tuned!

    Happy Six Months!
    march 3, 2016

We’re celebrating Devyn’s half birthday today!  I can’t believe she’s already 6 months old.  With Deacon, it seemed like it took forever to get to this point but with her, time is flying by.  It makes me a little sad that I don’t pay as much attention to her as I did with Deacon because well, I have two to care for now.  Major mom-guilt over here, but I’m so enjoying this time with her.  For all those that have asked, Devyn’s hair is growing back slowly but surely.  She still has a slight bald spot in the back, but apparently that’s normal?  Anyhow, it’s been so fun having another babe around and Devyn has been just the sweetest little addition to our family!

I think I’m ready for no. 3..haha jk, or am I?  Is there a point where parents feel like THIS IS IT, no more kids! because I don’t think I’m there yet.  Is this normal??  I feel like our family isn’t complete just yet.  Nonetheless, even if we’re not blessed with another babe, I’m so grateful for these little nuggets.  It hasn’t been easy watching them both at home, but I know I’ll look back and cherish the time I had with them.

    Highlights from month 6:

    • You started sleeping through the night!!  PRAISE THE LORD.  I could stop here, but you’ve been growing so much!  This has been a total game changer.
    • You are cooing and smiling so much and love playing with your feet (and eating them).
    • We’ve officially nicknamed you the “Scream Queen.”  You’re not really “screaming,” but you sure are vocal!
    • You’re starting to show interest in crawling.  During tummy time you start moving your legs as if you’re about to crawl.  Is it wrong of me to hope that you stay immobile just for a little while longer??  I’m immensely enjoying this phase!
    • We’ve had many playdates and you got to meet some new aunties and uncles!
    • Your grandparents have officially moved back to CA.  We’re so excited to have them here!!  Here’s to more date nights for mommy and daddy~

David’s former CG leaders.  Thanks for visiting!

Deacon’s obsession with Star Wars & Target continues

    Playdate with my friend, Riley!

Devyn got to meet Auntie Tina & the Chong kids! Our friendship goes back 25 years…hope our girls can continue the tradition~

Deacon’s been showing more interest in playing with Devyn these days…but why does her head look twice his size??

Our fav Korean shaved ice joint. Deacon’s face says it all~

I guess it’s time for me to start planning Devyn’s 1st birthday!  I’m kinda not kidding…I already have some ideas I’m throwing around.  In the meantime, I’ve been preparing for a very exciting treat that’s been in the works with my favorite wedding vendors.  Can’t wait to reveal what it is in the coming weeks 🙂
